It is a single file program, and does not require an installer.
After downloading the program, simply run it to scan you in-memory processes
which should not take more than 1-2 minutes. You will automatically be sent
to a web-page containing all of the results and analysis.
It's as Simple as 1-2-3!
So what does this do exactly?
- It first scans your computer memory to find all the running programs on your system.
- Next it examines each of the programs that it finds and computes a unique checksum.
- Then it sends the list of program names, file sizes, and checksums to hoodcheck.com and creates a system profile for you.
- A random unique identifier is assigned to your profile that nobody else knows.
- You will then be redirected to your unique profile that will show all the programs you have running on your system.
What the program will not do:
- Keep running after you exit, or run at anytime without your request.
- Transmit any personally identifiable information to the Internet.
- Send any other information than what was identified above.
- Install any other software on your system.
